A Birthday Cake!

Hello everyone!

Last month was my daughter's 7th birthday and I was so happy to make my first cake decorated after doing my three Wilton's courses :)

I made it cover with fondant, I was a little nervous, because was my first officially decoration for a birthday party :)

Hello everyone!

I'm going to introduce myself.

 I'm Mariana, I'm married, have three beautiful and adorable kids, and love to decorate cakes and this is a new hobby for me :)

This year I made all the three wilton courses at Michaels. I just wanted to learn the basics to make a birthday cake for my daughters and son. but later I discovered that I wanted to learn more and more about decorated any types of cakes and now that I finish all the wilton courses, I want to open my own business in cakes decorates. I know the beginning it's not going to be easy, but I'm going to do my best because I really love to do this and I think I have a special gift to make beautiful and delicious cakes.

Now I'm going to show you some pictures from my beginning at wilton's course.

 This is my first decoration! I made it for my graduation on wilton course one! It's made with buttercream frosting. Delicious!!!

 This was for my graduation on wilton course two, It's made with buttercream frosting and the flowers are made of gum paste. I love the border of this cake!!!

And now the last one...

This was my final project, for my graduation of the third wilton course :)

It's cover with fondant and also the flowers are made with fondant.
